I work for Best Buy out in Il here and I used to run the car stereo dept. The size you want is 6.5 all around. If you can, for the fronts get the rockford fosgates or the pioneers seperates. I had them both in my older cars and they are great for the $$. As for the rear you can go with any thing really the pioneers 3 ways are nice. If you are going to get a new radio get a pioneer I think its the deh-p9200 or something like that. Its the nicest radio we sell I think. If you need help picking out amps or anything else please email me back.

Nick,
Thanks for the help. Click on the link above; there's been a lot of discussion so far. I've also selected some stuff and I've included the model numbers and everything. Now I need to know if it'll be better to wire the amp to only the fronts at 100Wx2 @ 4ohms or hook the amp up to all four speakers at 50Wx4@ 2ohms. I also have a 40Wx4 Sony CD deck.
Thanks.

Save the weight and run all 4 speakers off the Sony Head unit.
This is only viable if you have a subwoofer to help with bass.
